QUICK TIP - Skim Coat over Existing Plaster, use PVA first

Quick video on preparing an old wall for a fresh coat of plaster. After sanding down the old plaster, removing all the lumps and bumps, use two coats of PVA to ensure the new plaster sticks to the old plaster.

Let the first coat dry, then apply the second coat. Once this is tacky (not quite dry) apply the first skim coat and it'll stick without any problems.
