The purpose of this tutorial
The purpose of this tutorial is to introduce some basic computational fluid dynamics (or CFD) concepts and show how to undertake a simple external CFD analysis. Topics covered:
• Briefly introduce CFD and some basic principles such as the finite volume grid, iterative convergence and boundary conditions.
• Set up and run a simple external CFD analysis, briefly introducing concepts such as the CFD grid and monitor points, and show how the calculation results converge towards a solution.
• Review the results of a simple external analysis.
