New Zealand sprinter, Symone Tafuna’i (Symmy), is a member of the New Zealand women's relay team. She is currently working at RNZ as a Sports Reporter, where she aims to show and encourage other fellow young Samoan and Pacific Islanders to follow their dreams. Symmy is very open about her mental health journey, and hopes to use her platform to normalise the struggles athletes and non-athletes experience to achieve their own successes.
