Fresh fenugreek leaves cooked in mild spices.

METHI NI BHAJI

Ingredients

1 cup fresh fenugreek leaves (methi), cleaned
1 tablespoon oil
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon gram flour
½ tablespoon lemon juice

Method

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add fenugreek leaves and sauté.
2. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well.
3. Add ½ cup water and stir to mix. Add gram flour and mix well. Add lemon juice and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Serve hot.
