What did God warn us about Babylon in the Last Days?
We explore Babylon, its meaning in scripture and what form it will take in the End Times.
God warns his people living in the last days to come out of Babylon. But what is Babylon? Is it a group of countries, a religion, a world system and how does it relate to Revelation and preparedness for living in the end times?
Babylon is the second most referenced city in the bible after Jerusalem. But Babylon was more than just a city. In fact, Babylon is used throughout scripture to describe not only a physical kingdom, but a system that is bent against God. A system that promotes materialism, immoral behavior and idolatry. A system that will flourish and rule in the last days according to the book of revelation. Babylon in revelation not only has governmental power, power to force compliance, but also is a powerful mix of state and church. A system that fuses the force of civil government with religious dedication and obedience. All who oppose this system find themselves persecuted and unable to buy or sell and eventually being killed for their resistance.
We will explore this end time system that will flourish and be led by the devil.
