Sharath @BuildingBeautifully joins me on a tour of the Western Sydney International Airport Construction Site.
And in this video, you get to see what we saw, including the terminal building, runway, taxiways and fixed link bridges that connect the terminal with the future planes!
So on 17 June 2023, Western Sydney International opened its doors to public, and the best part was a bus tour of the airport construction site.
Besides seeing how it is looking, you'll learn about the new state of the art baggage handling system, that will track your bags. No Airtags required!
You'll also discover that some of the gates will swing both ways! That's between Domestic and International depending on demand.
Although we didn't get close to the Airport Terminal or Airport Business Park Metro Stations, I do talk about them briefly.

Construction Sites, Maintenance Facilities and other Private Property
All footage of construction sites, maintenance facilities and other private property is taken from a public vantage point. The only exception is if it's an open day or I have special permission to access the site. The iPhone's small lens and zoom function makes it easier to film through small gaps in hoardings or fencing, so it may look like I'm on site when I'm not! If you would like to know the exact filming location, then ask me in the comments.
