What does an ergonomics specialist do?

An ergonomics specialist or ergonomist works in different settings to promote safety. They might help factory workers find safer methods to handle products or teach someone proper biomechanics for working in an office.

It seems like common sense, but ergonomists actually have a lot of useful methods to increase productivity, prevent injuries, and save companies thousands of dollars.
