In this video, I'll show you how you can layer sounds using the Zone section of the Sampler plugin. Layering is an important part of making beats and you can do it in several ways using the Maschine MK3 or Maschine Plus.
You can layer sounds using Link Groups. You can layer sounds by having the MIDI pattern be identical for two sounds. And the third technique, which I teach in this tutorial, is to use Zone to layer sounds.
You can layer claps, kick drums, create unique pad sounds, and much more. Utilize the sounds you have from Native Instruments to create layers, or use samples from other sources, such as Splice.
