Stroke volume is determined by:
1-Preload (the volume and pressure of
blood in the ventricles at the end of
diastole).-venous return
2- Afterload (the volume and pressure of
blood
in the ventricles during systole) .-
peripheral resistence
3- Myocardial contractility, forming the
basis of Starling’s Law
