Chinese City with a Strong Russian Heritage | Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province

Went out to do a little exploring. In this video we'll visit a city in the far northeast of China called Harbin, or sometimes spelled 'Haerbin' (哈尔滨市) located in China's northeasternmost province of Heilongjiang (黑龙江省). This region, the northeast, is referred to as 'dongbei' (东北) in Mandarin and it consists of three provinces: Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang Provinces.
This city has a very unique history and a heavy Russian influence that lasts until today (predominantly in the architecture). There was once a time in China, and it wasn't all that long ago, where one could have seen people from many different nationalities walking the streets of Harbin. Nowadays, things have changed. I did not see ANY other obvious 'foreigners' there during my visit.
