Today we take you through how to use the best lure for Striped Bass. We go into detail in how you can use this lure to know how to catch striped bass from shore. Everyone has been catching the stripers on this lure this past week, and have not had much success on the others. It's ability to mimic the natural bait the striper are already chasing is unbelievable. I was able to pull two out of this hole and one keeper! In the second half of the video we show you our favorite way to cook these delicious fish. Hope you enjoy!

This is what they have been hitting on, Swim shad. Get yourself a pack of 6" tsumanis and you will be sure to catch a striped bass.

If they aren't biting on the swim shad a deadly dick or spoon can be a great alternative. These things are the bomb. I have caught hundreds of striped bass on them and they never fail me. You want to get a couple different weights of the lure so you can fish different depths.

I was using the Penn Fierce Live Liner III 6000 Medium Heavy 1 pc. I love penn rods and reels they stand up to saltwater and are tough. This setup allows you to reel in any size striper you will run into. I like this rod because of its live baiting capabilities, however if you don't use live bait that often, a penn battle II is going to be a better option.

Once you get the striped bass out of the hole and to the surface a landing net is very useful to throw the fish in. Once they get to the surface they often roll around a lot, so having a net to put them in decreases the chance you miss them.

Pretty much my go to fishing line for most of my freshwater setups I like to go 25 lb test on my 6000 reel. Any Berkley Trilene line is going to be high quality line, so find your favorite!
