Avalonia Tutorial: Add and Layout Controls | Fluent Icons

In this tutorial, you will see just how easy it is to build great looking visual desktop applications using Avalonia.
This guide has instructions for Visual Studio on windows, however the steps will be almost the same on other operating systems, and reasonably similar on other IDEs such as Rider.

Our livestream assumes some knowledge of XAML, MVVM development, however this guide should fill in the gaps for beginners.

Avalonia is a cross-platform UI framework for dotnet, providing a flexible styling system and supporting a wide range of Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, macOS. Avalonia is mature and production ready. We also have in beta release support for iOS, Android and in early stages support for browser via WASM.
