Adobe Audition CC 2022: How To Create a RodeCaster Pro Multitrack Template
This tutorial will show you how to create a re-usable Adobe Audition Multitrack Template that includes a track for each input (channel) on the RodeCaster Pro. So, each time you create a new Multitrack Session in Adobe Audition, you can select the RodeCaster Pro Template and all channels will be armed for recording and ready to record all channels of the RodeCaster Pro.
Note: You must enable Multitrack Recording on the Rodecaster Pro

Steps:
1. Enable Multitrack USB Recording on the RodeCaster Pro
2. In Audition Audio Hardware Settings, set the Default Input to RodeCaster Pro Multichannel
3. Create a New Multirack
4. Add A Track for each RodeCaster Pro Channel
5. File…Export…Save Session As Template

How To Enable Multitrack Recording on the RodeCaster Pro:
1. Tap the Gear Icon
2. Tap Advanced
3. Tap Audio
4. Tap ‘Multitrack’
5. Toggle on Multitrack…USB
How To Set Audio Hardware Preferences in Adobe Audition:
1. Open Adobe Audition
2. Click on Audition in the top menu
3. Click on Preferences
4. Click on ‘Audio Hardware’
5. Set Default Input to RodeCaster Pro Multichannel is selected
6. Click ‘OK’
How To Create a RodeCaster Pro Multitrack Template
1. Create A New Multitrack Session (Cmd + N)
2. Template set to ‘None’
3. Click on Heading of Track 1 and rename ’Stereo Mix’
4. Click on the arrow next to Default Stereo Input and select ’Stereo…RodeCaster Multichannel Left’
5. Click Arm for Record
6. Add 4 Mono Microphone Tracks. (Mono Channel, Mic 1,2,3,4)
7. Add Stereo Tracks for USB, Smartphone, USB, Sounds Library
8. Arm all tracks for Recording
9. Go to File…Export…Session As Template
10. Rename RCP or RodeCaster Pro
11. Click ‘OK’ to save as template that can be re-used when a new Multitrack Session is created
