In this video I take my TLR 22 5.0 DC car (bought used) that has the optional 4 gear standup transmission installed from the tlr 22 4.0 in it for racing on low grip hard packed clay tracks that have a layer of dust. The tracks in my area are hard packed surfaces which are considered low / low-med grip and the 4 gear helps give more forward grip. Todays race is the Maritime Race Of Champions held at the Windy Acres Offroad RC track in Cap-Pele, New Brunswick.

Some slight tuning was applied to the base setup on the raceday. The Windy Acres Offroad RC track was less grip with a fairly deep layer of dust and proved to be a challenge for grip.

Tires: Jconcepts Rips front in blue compound with JConcepts, Proline Holeshots in M4 in the rear.
Electronics: Savox SB2263MG-BE servo, Hobbywing XR10 Pro 160A, Surpass Rocket 10.5 V3 motor

How did it go? The car had a bit of an on power push with a slight bit of rear end instability during corners. As the dust came up the car lost a lot of forward drive which made the jumps that were easy to make early in the day a challenge. I had the feeling the slipper was slipping, but I did not hear the typical slipper wine from the car while racing.
