Final Fantasy Tactics Main Theme on Violin & Viola

"Hero's Theme" is the title for the main theme of Final Fantasy Tactics.  Composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, its tune is heard in several battle themes and cutscenes in the soundtrack, including "Main Character's (Ramza) Theme", "Alma's Theme", "Memories", "Antipyretic", "Battle on the Bridge", "Epilogue Movie", and "Staff Credits".  It also appears in several other Final Fantasy titles, including FF14, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, Opera Omnia, Record Keeper and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call.

The OST version is scored for harp and invokes a simple yet wistful feeling.  There are 2 main lines: a top melody with accompaniment counterpoint.  My string cover / arrangement uses violin for the top line (played up an octave the second time through) and viola for the bottom line.  The melancholy tone of the viola lends itself well in particular to this theme.
