Module 7 covers the topic of sampling distributions. We will first consider the differences between sampling from a finite versus and infinite population. This is followed by a few examples of point estimation for both a population mean and a population proportion. We then examine the sampling distributions of sample means and sample proportions. In both scenarios, we study expected values, standard deviation, variance and the relationship between sample size and sampling distribution.
