Discover the fun and easy way to read first words with Mr Sean and Word Bot.
This interactive phonics lesson focuses on learning to read CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant) made with the 'satipn' letter sounds.
In this video, kids will play with letter sounds (phonemes) to learn how to read without effort.
First, our robot friend will select three letters to read. Mr Sean will then teach how to say each sound individually (segmenting). Then he will show how to blend the letter sounds to read the CVC word. Children are motivated to join in by using hand movements and fun repetition. Once a word has been successfully read, kids consolidate their learning by practicing again with Word Bot. Finally, through a magical reveal, kids will learn the meaning of the word.
This is a holistic learning approach based on phonics and Montessori principles that doesn't just focus on blending but on overall language meaning and development.
