Arn: The Knight Templar (2007) - Arn Saving Saracens Scene

Arn: Tempelriddaren (original title) - This movie gave me strong Kingdom of Heaven (2005) vibes. Not quite the same quality, but quality movie nevertheless. The movie itself is about Arn, the son of a high-ranking Swedish nobleman that is educated in a monastery and sent to the Holy Land as a knight Templar - to do penance for a forbidden love. As you might have guessed by now, my favorite scene is when Arn goes into fight against other Knights that attacked Saracens (their enemies) on his land, because he promised them protection in exchange for information on the Muslim armies - that was his excuse to his own men who might have not agree with it - he seen the civilians as innocents, that shouldn't be harmed no matter what side they belonged to. The other knights wouldn't let go and even killed his horse when he showed them mercy, so Arn took his revenge - adding another sin to hurt his soul later. Sadly, I felt like the movie never really peaked - at least not big time, or big enough, but even as a story it was enough to me as it was very interesting. I highly recommend this movie!
