Bouncing on a birthing ball is a great position for both early and active labor and can help ease pain during labor. Here are some exercises to prepare you to birth in this position.

OFFICIAL BIO: Jackie Blake began her career in wellness in 1999 as a personal trainer at Equinox Fitness Clubs in New York City. That year Jackie took a Pre and Post Natal Fitness Training certification and fell in love with working with pregnant women and new mothers. Inspired by the work of Baron Baptiste, she began practicing yoga in 2001, and in 2004 and did her 200 HR YTT at YogaWorks in NYC. More recently in her quest to conceive a child at the age of 44, she became inspired by Guru Jagat’s teachings on how Kundalini yoga can help balance the hormonal system to promote fertility in older women. In 2022 she completed the 100 HR Kundalini Pre and Post Natal yoga certification from Yoga Farm in Ithaca, NY. Jackie was so inspired by the profundity of this certification, that she has shifted the focus of her work to include pre and postnatal yoga to share this passion and knowledge. She is currently enrolled in Yoga Farm’s 500 HR Kundalini Teacher Training. In addition to teaching online Vinyasa/Kundalini fusion classes that are open to yoga practitioners of all levels, she also teaches online Kundalini Prenatal Yoga in a way that is safe and effective for pregnant women, postnatal women and women that are trying to conceive.
