As per the latest news on Mirror Now, Mumbai reports 100 COVID-19 cases for the second day in a row. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has appealed to people to use face masks when outside and follow all COVID-19 protocols. Maharashtra Chief Minister's appeal comes a month after the state lifted the mandatory masking rule. Thackeray's call came after he held a review meeting with top administrative officials in view of rising COVID-19 cases in the state. It is not Mumbai of course but in Maharashtra, COVID-19 cases have seen an uptake. There is no mandatory masking rule being brought back in Maharashtra just yet.
