The Most Simple & Perfect Recipe of Hunter Beef by MHK | Hunter Beef without Salt Peter (KalmiShora)

Hunter Beef (ہنٹر بیف) was initially used to preserve meat for a longer period but now it has become a very popular snack among the meat lovers.  Although its making has been made very much complex by the people but here #MHK is going to demonstrate its own recipe for making it in a very very simple way with least use of ingredients (only 3 ingredients excluding salt peter (kalmi shora)) & efforts along with some suggestions for its preservation & usages. Let us see with keen interest till end please:-
Ingredients:
Beef (گوشت): 3 Kg
White Vinegar (سفید سرکہ): 3 Cups
Salt (نمک): 3 Table Spoons


Procedure:
1. Wash & clean beef piece from unnecessary fats.
2. With any sharp object make shallow pricks on beef piece from all sides.
3. Pour vinegar & salt in a bowl and mix a little.
4. Put the beef in bowl & dip it from all sides in the solution.
5. Cover bowl with lid & keep it in refrigerator for 2~3 days or as required.
6. After almost 48 hours, put the beef in cooking pot.
7. Cook beef on medium flame without adding water.
8. Now water has been released by the beef so cook further in the same.
9. After half an hour change the sides, & so on for all sides after regular intervals.
10. Now add very little amount of water as it is near to cooked position.
11. If a shashlik stick is inserted deep easily, the meat is tendered.
12. Take it out & put on a stand for a while so that excessive water could be strained.
13. Cut it in slices and can be served in this condition easily.
14. To preserve for some time fold it in butter paper & keep it at safe place.
15. Another way to serve: Cut in small pieces, fry a little with black pepper.
16. In this way it can also be served as tea snacks or side dish.


Tip-1: Do not make deep pricks as it may damage the meat fibers.
Tip-2: Change the sides of beef during the period before cooking.
Caution: Adding of extra water may go in waste & increase the time of cooking.
