How to Face a Blacksmith Hammer

Today's video shows you how I face my blacksmithing/forging hammers. I hand sanded to a fine mirror finish, this is unnecessary as your first use will mar up the finish. The most important thing is to get rid of all your rough edges and to remove the varnish that comes on the hammer handle. As long as you do that you're good to go.
