Yes, there are others ones, like birthday. Birthdays happen every year. Not really transitional. Some big achievement may change the life or going abroad. Maybe death of someone close. An accident might completely change your life. I'm trying to think of how many milestones are there. To life. To change. Just a mental exercise to figure out that I have way to much yet to see in life. Lemme talk about a dream. Ever since the death of a senior in a car accident followed by the road safety movement, I keep thinking about the dangers of road. I was soooooo eager to go to batch tip. In shaa Allah I will. But, I am now constantly searching videos and all about how to survive if your vehicle drowns in a lake. The thing is, the imagination of death is quite vivid. Suddenly you're stopped in your tracks with all your hopes and aspiration. Made me realize how precious every living moment is. Well, that realization lasted only while I was in bed trying to sleep. These kicks disappear when you wake up :P That being said, my semester is going to end on 15th November in shaa Allah. I can't wait for the classes to end. And this is not me only. Many of my friends share the same mentality. University life can be a torture for those who aspire to do 'more'. There are people like me who will like to go to places, talk in seminars and do all sorts of other stuffs if they didn't gave to bother about the classes. For people like us, graduation means freedom. Even if means joining a corporation for a job. At least it will keep you active with 'proper' work. Or maybe it's another fallacy that university students carry. Jobs just might up turn up to be another 'prison'. You never truly escape the prison unless you go beyond the human urges. Students have bosses. Their teachers. In a job, you have a real boss. You might say, being an entrepreneur, you won't have any boss. NOPE! Customers becomes bosses of entrepreneurs. Well, no early or easy scape. You must amass a certain amount wealth to be financially free. I would say, the amount needs to be 5 crore. But, the question is, how far are you from that milestone?
