Villa S is a renovated
Villa S is a renovated villa located in Gallura, Italy. The renovation project focused on creating a cohesive space that blends modern elements with the traditional architecture and natural surroundings.
The original villa consisted of several disconnected buildings. The renovation project reconnected these buildings and created a central square that serves as a meeting and gathering space.
The interiors of the villa were also redesigned to create a more open and modern feel. Large glass surfaces were added to provide views of the square and the sea. Local materials, such as granite and Iroko wood, were used throughout the villa to create a sense of warmth and tradition.
The basement of the villa was converted into a recreational space, including a playroom, cellar, and additional suite. The basement also houses the technical room, which controls the villa's heating, air conditioning, and lighting systems.
The villa is surrounded by a large garden that features native Mediterranean vegetation. The garden is designed to be low-maintenance and water-efficient. The garden also includes a number of strategically placed trees, such as an olive tree, a fig tree, and a carob tree.
