When people tell me how music has lifted and blessed them, the phrase I hear most often is “Your music got me through my darkest hour.”  And more often than not, it is the song “He’ll Carry You” that they are referring to.

Today, I hope this song reminds you of Elder Jeffrey R. Holland’s words, “However late you think you are, however many chances you think you have missed, however many mistakes you feel you have made or talents you think you don’t have, or however far from home and family and God you feel you have traveled, I testify that you have not traveled beyond the reach of divine love. It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ’s Atonement shines.”

Sometimes we hit rock bottom – we reach the end of our trying-to-do-it-all ropes and we aren’t sure we can hang on.  The Savior will help us hang on.  He will help us keep going.  He will carry you and me.
