Blue Eye Samurai Review: The good and the bad

Blue Eye Samurai, a Netflix series that was released on 2023, has feature in many of the end of year best lists of creators. But is it actually worth the hype? Although I think the series has amazing animation and a very compelling woman protagonist - Mizu - that subverts a lot of our expectations, I think there are some serious issues that prevent it from being a masterpiece like other animation series such as Arcane (2021).
