Get out of bed, sleepyhead! Saturday morning cartoons are on CBS, so pour a bowl of cereal, sit down in front of the boob tube, and tune in to toon out.
This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials and episodes from shows that played on Saturday mornings (from 8 in the morning to noon) on CBS in the 90's. It follows a 1994 schedule for CBS Saturday mornings, with some inspiration from 1995 schedules and other schedules. Certain shows (like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Garfield And Friends) can't be used for copyright reasons. These shows were substituted with other great cartoons and shows that played on CBS around the same time. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg Saturday morning broadcast.
This is the eighth Saturday morning cartoon compilation video I've put up. Not being able to use Garfield And Friends was a bit disappointing, seeing how that cartoon really defines CBS Saturday mornings for me, but I think the alternatives I wound up using made up for it. I hope you enjoy it.
