In this video, I wanted to do a review of the North Face Venture 2 Jacket. This has been one of my jacket staples as of lately. It served me well with my recent travels and day trips. If you're considering buying this jacket, hopefully this video will help you with your purchasing decisions!

Outer shell - 100% nylon
Inner lining - 100% polyester
DryVent - water and windproof fabric
Is the jacket waterproof? Yes
Is the jacket windproof? Yes
Is the jacket abrasion resistant? Yes

For reference, I am 5' 8'' and 150-155lbs. I am wearing a size X-SMALL (XS) in Men's.
This jacket runs BIG. I recommend either sizing down 1 or 2 from your normal true to size.

When you pack this jacket in the stow away pocket, it will measures about: 9' inches x 5 inches

How Good Is the Venture 2 Jacket?

Pro #1: compact and lightweight - saves a lot of space when packing. easy to bring around for a day trip or for long duration travel
Pro #2: DryVent did great against rain, wind and even snow. it kept me dry.
5:10 Cons
Con #1: sizing was off, runs BIG
Con #2: this jacket does NOT keep you warm
Does this jacket keep you warm? No. You will need to LAYER underneath this jacket, especially if temperatures drop below 50 degrees Fahrenheit or 12 degrees Celsius
Con #3: jacket does wrinkle
