►Ingredients for the Chocolate Cake

►Chocolate Cake

60g cocoa powder (use good quality one)
1 cup or 240ml boiling water
1 cup or 250ml whole milk
200g unsalted butter (room temperature)
2 cups or 400g sugar
3 large eggs
3 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups or 260g plain flour
2 tsp. or 10g baking powder
1 tsp. or 5g baking soda
Pinch of salt
Some butter and cocoa powder to coat the cake pans

►Chocolate Ganache

300g dark chocolate
300 ml double cream
Handful chocolate curls

►Other Things

2 cake pans (8 inch or 9 inch)
Few bowls
Hand whisk or whisk machine
A round plate or cake tray
Spatula
