IELTS Writing Task 1 Academic
IELTS Writing Task 1 Academic requires you to write at least 150 words in response to a graph, table, chart or process. You will be presented with factual information and asked to select and report the main features of the data in under 20 minutes.

Stop overlooking Task 1.
Many of my former IELTS students have told me that they used to spend ~80% of their writing preparation on Task 2 because “it’s worth more marks”.
This is a HUGE mistake, as neglecting your Task 1 essay skills can massively damage your overall score.
If you need to get a Band 7+ in the writing exam, you need to be equally skilled at writing BOTH Task 1 and Task 2. Trust me: you don’t want to fail because you didn’t prepare adequately.
