Ingredients

2 cups thinly sliced onions tightly packed ( Appx 400 gms after slicing)
1 tsp ginger finely chopped
2 tbsp curry leaves chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
3 -4 green chilies finely chopped
1/4 cup soaked cashew nuts  ( optional)
Salt to taste
1 cup besan
1/4 cup rice flour ( cornflour)
Big pinch of hing
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp carom seeds
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
