Cutting plywood and breaking down sheet goods doesn't have to be a pain. In fact, you can do it like a boss if you have the right tools.

Sure, you could ask the home store to do it for you. But c'mon, this is your chance to use a power tool for cryin out loud.

Most DIYers don't own a table saw, good for your if you do. That's awesome.

Problem is this though, plywood and sheet goods are heavy as all heck. If you're by yourself it'll be a chore to cut the sheet good without cutting your fingers off.

An easier way IMO is to use a circular saw with Kreg's Rip-Cut tool.
Rip-Cut tools cost $34 and attach to most circular saws.

Plus you can adjust the edge guide to make cuts either left handed or right handed. Sweet!!!

You don't have to mark up the plywood and the cut will be perfectly straight. Adjust your saw's depth to be about 1/4" deeper than the depth of the material. And lay the sheet good's nice side face down since circular saws cut upward.
