Snapchat is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. It allows you to take pictures and videos called ‘Snaps’, and exchange them with other users of Snapchat. And this video we will show you how to recover snapchat photos from Android, iPhone and computer.
Recover Snapchat Photos on Android Phone:
Method 1: Recovering from Cache Files
Step1: Open any file manager app on your Android phone. Open the folder named “Android” from the long list of folders and click inside the folder to see a “Data” folder. Open it too.
Step2: Find and open the folder named “com.snapchat.android” and check the inside cache folder.
Step3: One more folder you have to open to see your photos named “received_image_snaps”. Open it and you’ll see that the photos or files end with “.nomedia”. All you have to do is rename the files. Then you’ll be able to view your photos once more.
Method 2: Recovering from Cloud Backup (Here take Google Drive as an example.)
Step1: Sign in to your Google account, tap on the recent backup’s folder, or open photos from the drive.
Step2: It will show all your photos that were present during the last backup. That means it will also contain the photos that you uploaded on your Snapchat.
Step3. Select the photos you want to recover, and click "Save to device".

Method 1: Recovering via "Recently Deleted Photos" feature
1. Go over to the “Photos” app on your iPhone. Enter “Albums” and then “Recently Deleted”. You will see all the recently deleted photos.
2. Just select the ones you want to recover and tap the “Recover” button.
Methods 2: Recover Snapchat photos on iPhone with Temporary Folder.
1. Download any file manager application like iExplorer.
2. Connect your iPhone with the computer and open the file manager.
3. Browse through the available folders of the iPhone and locate the Snapchat folder.
4. Then you can find all the shared photos via Snapchat stored in the temp folder.
5. Recover and save them to your computer.
