Intro to Making Maps with Google Earth Pro

Presenter: Lauren Mabe Date: 2024-04-12 Description In this workshop, participants will learn basic mapmaking and cartography using Google Earth Pro. The purpose of this workshop is to create simple “Study Area” maps that can be used in papers, proposals, etc without the large learning curve associated with more advanced geospatial analysis. The workshop will cover simple spatial data creation, inset maps, and the principles of cartography including legends, scale bars, and labels.
