Introduction:
Automatic Traffic Lights control.
Traffic Lights are used, to control the vehicular traffic.
In the modern era, everyone has his own vehicle, resulting in rise to the numbers of vehicles. That’s why traffic lights are mandatory, to avoid the traffic jams and accidents.
There are three lights in the traffic signal, having different message for the drivers.
Red light asks the driver, to stay at the intersection.
green light gives the driver, free license to drive through the intersection.
yellow light alerts the driver to wait, if the next light is red , or get ready to go, if the green light is next.
In this video, we will see, how an automatic traffic lights controller is made, using triple 5 timer IC, and C D 4 0 1 7, decade counter IC.
these are the components, which are needed in this project.
Triple 5 timer IC.
8 Pin IC Base.
C D 4 0 1 7, decade counter IC.
16 Pin IC base.
5, 1 kilo ohm resistors.
50 kilo ohm, variable resistor.
100 micro farad, electrolytic capacitor.
2 red LED.
1 green LED.
1 yellow LED.
9 volt battery.
PP3 battery connector.
on off, rocker switch.
1 zero PCB.
4 screw with nuts.
and 4 plastic spacers.
