Start Here! If you are new to HVAC then this is the first video to watch. Mr. Stringham explains heat transfer, entholpy, latent, sensible and specific heat factors. How HVAC equipment is sized. Pressure and boiling points and how to read a pressure/temperature charts. To understand the P/T Chart, Temperature glide and how the refrigeration cycle works then you need to know the information in this video. This is to assist student with the basic knowledge to understand the information in the Introduction and Core sections of the EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Exam. Once complete with this video then move on to the "Refrigeration Cycle" video. Then Core, Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, plus the additional lab videos showing various recovery methods, pressurizing with nitrogen, leak checks, refrigeration hazards, recovery cylinders and so on.
