Get ready for writer-director Cassie Keet's debut film, Scream Therapy! This horror-comedy follows a group of friends on a weekend getaway that takes a deadly turn.
Avery (Harley Bronwyn) is reeling from a recent break-up. To help her mend her broken heart, her best friends whisk her away on a desert trip for a weekend of catharsis and "scream therapy." Think boozing, bonding, and plenty of primal screams to release pent-up emotions.
Their relaxing retreat takes a nightmarish turn when they encounter Jeremiah (Brian Flaccus) and Zachariah (Skyler Bible). These aren't your average desert wanderers; they're demon-worshipping incels on a tight deadline – they need a human sacrifice for a dark ritual. When things go awry, the girls find themselves thrust into a fight for survival.
With the sun rising fast, the friends are left with a horrifying choice: find their own sacrifices or face a gruesome fate. Their desert adventure becomes a twisted battleground against crazed incel cultists, conspiracy theorists, and the cult leader, "The Sovereign" (David St. James).
