A delicious alternative to the basic beef stew, ragu beef is full of tomato flavour, with carrots, onions and red wine adding to the flavour.

TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE

Find diced stewing or braising beef it is the best for stews like this one.

You can grate or chop the carrot, it doesn't matter either way.

If you're cooking beef, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir are your friends.

We purposely don't add salt and pepper to the list of ingredients because everyone's tastes are different, and you should add salt and pepper to your own taste. We added a pinch of salt and pepper to this recipe.
