I never went to camp, as a kid. My friends and I just ran around like a gang of hooligans all summer long. I always wondered what it would be like -- all the learning and making new friends. So when I heard about a nationwide program that encourages women of all backgrounds to learn outdoors skills, I just had to check it out.
