The natives of Mexico began to grow #Corn around 9000 years ago.
They did this by carefully growing a wild grass called ‘teosinte’ and mixing it with small grains. That is how corn was actually created or invented you.
Now, 9000 years later, Corn is cultivated through machines.
Gleaner Harvester Combine Corporation of Independence in Missouri developed the very first mechanical corn harvester in 1930.
More than 33% of all the corn in our world is grown in the United States. Over 90 million acres of land in the USA are cornfields.
Corn requires a Subtropical and Temperate climate to grow.
Did you know that there are over 3,500 different uses for corn?
