Dr Tim Burnett gives an overview of NXCT

NXCT, the National Research Facility for lab X-ray Computed Tomography held the workshop, Advanced acquisition and analysis of image-based data, on 22nd June 2021.

In this video, Tim Burnett (NXCT) gives an introduction to the NXCT, including:
- An overview of the NXCT mission and available resources
- Introduction to X-ray Computed Tomography (CT)
- Use of machine learning for CT data
- Reconstruction / advanced methods
- Post-acquisition

Throughout the rest of the workshop we shared information and challenges relating to the acquisition, reconstruction, visualisation and analysis of large 2D+time, 3D, 3D+time and 4D+ image datasets.
