As many of my loyal subscribers know, my vehicles suffer from the dreaded P0420 code, Catalytic Converter Below Efficiency. I've had multiple videos explaining how to skirt the system and get your car inspected and pass without fixing anything, if you bring it get inspected during your "golden opportunity" window that will show up.
Besides reading out any check engine light OBDII codes as any other scanner, this one has an "I/M button" right on it. Pressing this button will jump right to the readiness monitors page and show if the car is ready to be inspected. When it is, the car should be brought immediately, and pending there are no other issues, will pass inspection without a problem. Really convenient, nice bright color display, does everything a basic scan tool should. In addition, it has red, yellow, and green lights to show problems by color code immediately. Easy, easy, easy!
