Beef cooked with spices, dipped in an egg mix and then in breadcrumbs and deep fried. A great snack that you can have anytime. An appetizer never missed out at parties in a Kerala Christian homes and a most sold-out competitor to the Egg Puffs plus a wonderful tea snack at Keralite bakeries.

Ingredients:

Beef - 1 1/4 kg
Medium size onion - 2 nos
Ginger - 100 grams
Garlic - 2 cloves
Green chilli - 6 nos
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Pepper corn - 1 tablespoon

Spices:
Bay leaves - 2 nos
Cinnamon stick - 1 small piece
Cloves - 5 nos
Cardamom - 5 nos

Oil - 2 tablespoons
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 tablespoon
Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Potatoes - 500 grams
Bread crumbs - as needed
Eggs - 3 nos
Flour - as needed
Oil - to fry

Salad:
Onion - 2 nos
Tomato - 1 nos
Chilli - 2 nos
Curry leaves - few
Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Lemon - half
