Allergic or seasonal cough is a   seasonal kind of cough.  Most people have exposure and reactions  to  particular  things that are there in  seasons like  pollen. allergic cough  is  different  for a  COVID  related cough  because  the  allergic cough    tends  to happen because of  allergic  reasons in  air  passages. The  cough that is there in these  cases  will be  a  hacking cough with mild to moderate  secretions, not necessarily  thick  secretions, but in COVID kind of cough there will be  a dry  cough which is not  seasonal, it will not be  paroxysmal and it will be more and more  persistent, because  the process is  an ongoing  process, and  to   available challenge  of  allergy. In this case there will be difficulty in breathing. There is hardening of lung tissue, there will be  less  space on the lung tissue or  breathing. So the will have breathlessness. It  can cause  breathlessness  if the air passage to be narrow allowing  for less  air entering into the lungs there is a difference between the two, unlike in  COVID situation  there may not be  a wheeze, but there can be a breathlessness, even in rest. So there is a difference between the two and it has to be treated accordingly.
