Hey history surfers.
Got something a little different for you today. For this video, we go over the story that's told on the Bayeux Tapestry. The tapestry itself is a 70 meter long piece of embroided cloth. It details the events leading up to the Battle of Hastings in 1066. William the Conquerer's invasion of Anglo-Saxon Britain was a massive turning point in British history, so for me personally (Circlestrafe here), this story hits home quite a lot. Really enjoyed making this one and doing the research for it, even if the images were an absolute nightmare to source correctly.
