How to hang a gallery basket wall using temporary wall hooks

Hanging a basket wall can be overwhelming and stressful.  It's hard to know if you're going to like it before you commit to holes in your wall.

Or, we live in rented apartments and need temporary wall decor that doesn't damage the wall.

So how do we easily hang baskets on the wall for apartment living or just temporarily while we decide if we like the placement?
That's easy!

Step 1 – Gather the proper supplies
Pen, Tape, Command hooks of all sizes, paper, scissors
Pro tip: The command strips can hold different amounts of weight, use the large ones for 5+ pounds for the large wall plates
Step 2 – Layout your baskets on the floor in the layout you’d like to see on the wall
Step 3 – Trace the outline of the basket on paper
Pro Hack:  use tapped together scrap paper, newspaper
Step 4 – Cut out shapes
Step 5 – Tape to the wall on all 4 sides, starting with your largest piece or the central most basket
Step 6 -Step back and confirm placement
Step 6 – Prep command hook
Step 7 – Get ready to hang your basket – start with the largest or most central
Step 8 – fold down top 1/3 of paper (this is why you want to place 4 pieces of tape)
Step 9 – secure command strip
Pro Hack – do not hang basket immediately – continue to push several times to adhere command hook well to the wall
Step 10 – Hang basket
Step 11+ Repeat until all baskets are hung
Step 12 – Remove paper
Step 13 – Decide if you like, if you do, then you can place nails for a more permanent placement
Step 14 – Kick back & enjoy!
