4K TRAIN HORNS & DRIVER WAVES - Driver Bernie Bakers Retirement Run & Other Freight Trains

Welcome to Wednesday afternoon trains from Schony747.  

This video features The Train Driver Bernie Baker and other SSR train crew driving Locomotives SSR GM27 and 442s2 which were hauling the ARTC AK test measuring cars around parts of the ARTC track network and other freight trains that I captured during the day.

This happened to be Bernie Baker's last rostered work as a commercial train driver before heading into retirement and probably hours of extra behind the scenes work on the preserved railway scene. Bernie like his father was a career railway man and was always popular among railway enthusiasts. Bernie didn't disappoint the fans with plenty of horn shows and waves as he went past the people coming to say goodbye track side.
