Dewalt DCS690 54 volt cut off saw starts up but them dies. Will not keep running.

This is a problem thay can sometimes happen with any brushless powertool.
Motor starts up, but then quickly stops again.

This can normaly be one of a few problems.
Battery problem.
Faulty switch
Faulty wiring
or in this case a burn stator.

For Dewalts, a burnt stator like this, it's game over.
At 400 for a new motor it would be a safer option to buy a new body only.
