Tektites and Pseudotektites... Or Not

After some discussion, I want to note that some Colombianite has indeed been circulating for decades as a possible tektite, often under the name "Cali glass" (and others). As a result, some early material is completely justified in being called a pseudotektite. However, moving forward I don't think it can be justified to market it as a tektite or even pseudotektite.
