While cleaning an area of
While cleaning an area of the basement recently, I came across a box of all kinds of things that I knew had come from my grandmother's house. Among the mementos was an old candy box, bundled with rubber bands. The brand of candy was Schrafft's, a company that went out of business 40 years ago. Judging by the graphics, this box was from the 40's or 50's.
What a warm discovery when I removed the rubber bands and lifted the lid - it was filled with pencils and pens! I briefly glanced at them and then put the lid back on complete with rubber bands. Here I open the box again and go through the contents.
